How to spend the day at the Hollywood Boulevard? How to spend the day at the Hollywood Boulevard?

[SAVE FOR LATER]

⭐️ Start with a walking tour of the area to learn all those little facts that would be hard to come by otherwise and have a close up view of important buildings
⭐️ Look out for the star of your favourite celebrity on the Walk of Fame (mine was Minnie Mouse ;))
⭐️ Checkout the touristy section of the road around Dolby Theatre and TCL Chinese Theatre
⭐️ Enjoy the view of the Hollywood Sign from the terrace of Ovation Hollywood shopping centre
⭐️ Have a peak into the historic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel
⭐️ Play tourist and buy your souvenirs from one of the countless souvenir shops there
⭐️ Visit the Hollywood Museum or do a fun activity (there are plenty of them)

What was the first thing we did when we arrived in What was the first thing we did when we arrived in Los Angeles?

Obviously we slept, but after that we took advantage of our natural early morning woke up call (thanks jetlag) and took the bus to Beverly Hills! Yes, most places were closed but we could have the palm spring lined streets to ourselves! A bit of sunny weather would have been better, but that’s out of my control 😉

How did I stay organised while planning our 2-week How did I stay organised while planning our 2-week trip to California?

I used Wanderlog! 🙂

If you have ever travelled with me, you will know that I like to have a very detailed plan of how I am going to spend every day (or hour to be exact) at a destination. Through the years, I tried out different ways to stay organised while planning a trip including word documents and excel spreadsheets, but around a year ago I decided to try out Wanderlog and I got stuck with it!

Why I love Wanderlog?
Wanderlog allows me you to have all my travel details in one place, save places I want to visit on a map and then create an itinerary for each day of my trip. The best part is that, Wanderlog has both a browser version that I can use at home while planning a trip and a mobile app that I can use while at my destination!

How about you? How do you plan your trips? Did you already find what method works best for you?
